Centenary Cricket Match

It is 100 years since our beautiful cricket pavilion was built, and we plan to mark the occasion with a Centenary Cricket match followed by dinner in Hall. 

The event will start at 11.30 with a declaration cricket match planned between the Jesus College Long Vacation and the Jesus College MCR Cricket Clubs. We anticipate tea will be taken around 14.30, and there will be plenty available for spectators too. We aim to finish the match by 6pm allowing cricketers time to get ready for dinner.

Pre-dinner drinks will be served from 18.45 followed by dinner in Hall from 19.30. Dinner will also be open to the wider MCR, as a summer celebration (separate invitations to current members of the College will be sent in due course).

Tickets for the Centenary Dinner are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis at a price of £45. This price includes a £15 charitable donation to the Jesus College Cricket Club fund. This fund exists to support Jesuan cricket, including student involvement in cricket tours. To mark the centenary event, we are looking to raise funds for an electronic scoreboard (that you can see in use on the day) and a second set of sight screens.
