West Court Gallery exhibitions

In addition to the College's permanent art collection and Sculpture in the Close exhibitions, Jesus College has hosted nationally and internationally important exhibitions in the West Court Gallery.

The West Court Gallery was opened in 2017. Since then there have been solo and group exhibitions from eminent artists such as John Gibbons, Alison Wilding, William Congdon, Shahzia Sikander and the artistic cooperative Art and Language.

The College has hosted a number of UK premieres, including VR artwork Klimt's Magic Garden, created by Dr Frederick Baker. Exhibitions are often accompanied by symposia or 'In Conversation' events, such as the important show and conference in 2020 of the late Palestinian artist Kamal Boullata, Jerusalem in Exile

West Court Gallery continues to offer a space for thoughtful, modern exhibitions.
